Do you work as a subcontractor for general contractors?
Yes. We work direct for owners and property managers, and as the roofing sub on GC projects.
Do roofers in Ohio need a license?
Not from the state. Ohio licenses trades like electrical, plumbing and HVAC, but it has no statewide roofing license; cities set their own rules. OnPoint JD meets the City of Toledo’s contractor requirements and is fully insured with workers’ comp. Whoever you hire, ask for a certificate of insurance before work starts. We send ours on request.
Can you send a certificate of insurance?
Yes, on request, naming you or the owner as needed. We carry workers’ comp.
What flat roof systems do you install?
Single-ply membranes, modified bitumen and restoration coatings, plus repairs on most existing systems.confirm
Is a coating cheaper than replacing a flat roof?
Often, if the existing roof is dry underneath. We check for wet insulation first, because coating over a wet roof only hides the problem.confirm
What warranty comes with a shingled commercial roof?
Atlas’s commercial Signature Select® warranty covers buildings owned by companies, LLCs, churches, schools and apartments: 50 years, with the first 15 years covering labor, materials and tear-off in full when the full Atlas system is installed and registered within 60 days.
Do you offer maintenance plans?
